SECTOR REPRESENTATIVES VISITED ISTANBUL CHAMBER OF COMMERCE PRESIDENT MR. ŞEKİB AVDAGİÇ

A delegation consisting of the Logistics Service Providers Association, International Transporters Association, Heavy Transporters Association, All Container Logisticians Association, Liquid and Bulk Product Transporters Association and MÜSİAD Logistics Sector Board President/Deputy President and Vice Presidents visited Istanbul Chamber of Commerce President Mr. Şekib Avdagiç in his office.

In the meeting held with Mr. Avdagiç, the possible economic, social and sectoral impacts that will be encountered due to the exclusion of transportation companies from the companies granted bulk fuel purchase rights were discussed. From the President; “Logistics and transportation companies with commercial vehicle fleets (transportation companies as well); The solution proposal for “ensuring that the company is included among the businesses that are granted the right to purchase bulk fuel and preventing informality and tax loss, both the UTTS system and the supporting automation systems installed at fuel stations should be installed on the existing fuel pumps in the depots of our companies operating in our sector” was presented and their support was requested.

The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Logistics Service Providers Association Dr. Kayıhan Özdemir Turan, Chairman of the Heavy Transporters Association Yasin Bayraktar, Chairman of the All Container Logisticians Association İsmet Atalay, Chairman of the International Transporters Association V. President Ergun Bilen, Deputy Chairman of the MÜSİAD Logistics Sector Board Dr. Zekeriya Savran, Vice Chairman of the Liquid and Bulk Product Transporters Association Ekin Tırman and General Manager of the Liquid and Bulk Product Transporters Association Ayhan Özekin.
