The delegation consisting of the Presidents of the International Transporters Association, Heavy Transporters Association, Liquid and Bulk Product Transporters Association, Logistics Service Providers Association, MÜSİAD Logistics Sector Board, All Container Logisticians Association, International Transport and Logistics Service Providers Association and Turkish Transporters Association visited Mr. Erdal BAHÇIVAN, President of Istanbul Chamber of Industry, in his office on December 11, 2024.

In the meeting held with Mr. BAHÇIVAN, the possible economic, social and sectoral effects that will be encountered due to the removal of transportation companies from the businesses granted the right to bulk fuel purchase were discussed. The solution proposal of Mr. President was presented to ensure that “logistics and transportation companies with commercial vehicle fleets (transportation companies) are also included among the businesses granted the right to bulk fuel purchase and that the automation systems installed in fuel stations to prevent informality are also installed in the warehouses of our companies operating in our sector” and their support was requested.
