As the Logistics Service Providers Association (LojiDer), we participated in the TOBB Transportation and Logistics Council Meeting held at the TOBB Twin Towers Press Hall in Ankara on 29 June 2026.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Çağlar TABAK, Director General of Transportation Services Regulation, together with the Deputy Directors General and Heads of Departments; Mr. Şerafettin ARAS, Chairman of the TOBB Transportation and Logistics Council; Mr. Cengiz DELİBAŞ, Deputy Secretary General of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB); Dr. Kayıhan Özdemir TURAN, Chairman of the LojiDer Board of Directors; members of the TOBB Transportation and Logistics Council; presidents of non-governmental organizations representing the logistics sector; and representatives of logistics service provider companies and other sector stakeholders.

During the meeting, where members of the TOBB Transportation and Logistics Council discussed the sector’s challenges and proposed solutions, Dr. Kayıhan Özdemir TURAN, Chairman of the LojiDer Board of Directors, emphasized the need for legislative amendments to ensure that payment terms for logistics service providers do not exceed a reasonable period; to prevent unfair competition by integrating authorization certificates with the e-invoice system and preventing the issuance of invoices without a valid authorization certificate; to grant newly established logistics companies a specified period to obtain the required authorization certificate during their TOBB registration process and to suspend those that fail to do so within that period; to explicitly define the sender’s responsibility in the relevant regulations in order to prevent foreign-registered vehicles from carrying out domestic transport operations in violation of cabotage rules; to ensure the regular sharing of statistical data from all units of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure with the sector; to establish and regulate loading and unloading waiting times at domestic loading and delivery points in national and international transport at levels comparable to those applied in European Union countries; and to introduce legislative measures aimed at supporting the logistics sector and promoting transit transportation.
