As the Logistics Service Providers Association (LojiDer), we contributed to the "Breath to the Future" project, implemented by the General Directorate of Forestry of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of the Republic of Turkey.
The forest fires experienced in recent years in our country are causing our nature to face irreversible losses and rapidly diminishing the areas where we can breathe. In this process, the value of every sapling planted is greater than ever!
With this awareness, we have taken the first step towards the sprouting of a new forest by planting 1,500 red pine saplings in the Gökler Afforestation Area in the Ortaköy district of Aksaray province, a region devoid of trees in Anatolia.
The 1,500 saplings we planted today will become a forest in the coming years, sequestering carbon accumulated in the atmosphere naturally and reducing the effects of climate change, thus contributing significantly to both environmental sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint.
Every sapling we plant today is one of the most concrete steps in the fight against climate change and the effort to revitalize our vanishing forests.
Our saplings will grow as hope for a greener and cleaner world, breathing life into humanity's future.
With a sense of social responsibility and a goal of increasing forests in our country and leaving a greener environment for future generations, we will continue to breathe life into nature, the environment, and the future.
