The opening ceremony for the Highway Freight Vehicle Driving Program, which began accepting students for the 2025-2026 academic year at Kütahya Dumlupınar University's Kütahya Vocational School of Social Sciences, took place in Kütahya on September 22, 2025.

The opening ceremony, held in the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Conference Hall, was attended by Rector Prof. Dr. Süleyman KIZILTOPRAK; LODER Board Chairman Prof. Dr. Mehmet TANYAŞ; LojiDer Board Chairman Dr. Kayıhan Özdemir TURAN; LojiDer Board Member Burhan ÇAKAN; UND Board Vice Chairman Kerem İMRAK; Ford Otosan's Material Planning and Logistics Leader Onur SARIKAYA, who provided tractor (truck) support for our Highway Freight Vehicle Driving Program; owners and managers of leading logistics companies; academics; Kütahya Dumlupınar University academic and administrative staff; and students.

The program began with the National Anthem and a moment of silence. Following speeches by the LODER and LojiDer Board Chairs, Rector Prof. Dr. Süleyman KIZILTOPRAK emphasized the importance of road transportation. "Our goal is to train not only drivers who can drive, but also professional drivers who possess logistics knowledge, are aware of traffic safety, use technology effectively, and hold professional qualification certificates," KIZILTOPRAK stated. He thanked the participants and expressed his hope that the new program would be beneficial to the logistics sector.

Following the speeches, gifts were presented. Following a group photo, the grant protocol was signed.
